The American Anthropological Association’s 2008 Annual Report is now available. This report comes with a number of significant changes in the way it was produced, written and formatted.
First, as part of the American Anthropological Association’s commitment to be resource conscious, we used paper which contains 50% recycled content, including 25% post consumer waste.
Second, changes in the format of the report (i.e. its “vertical” orientation) lower the overall printing cost.
Third, we have made an effort this year to not only highlight the work of the association at large, but also feature the work of our sections, committees and commissions.
Finally, while our Executive Board, Section Leaders and donors will receive a copy of the report in the mail, we have chosen to make only a limited number of extra copies available by request.
We trust that you will find all of these changes welcome ones, and we thank you again for your dedicated service to the AAA. To request a hard copy of this year’s report, please contact Damon Dozier, Director of Public Affairs at ddozier@aaanet.org.
