2009 AAA Style Guide Cover
The publishing department is pleased to announce the revised AAA Style Guide is complete and available for download (pdf).
The Style Guide is our outline of style rules basic to AAA journals. The 2009 edition replaces the 2003 edition and includes updated references to the 15th edition of the The Chicago Manual of Style (2003) and the 11th edition of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (2006).
The URL for our guidelines page is still www.aaanet.org/publications/guidelines.cfm and the AAA Style Guide is still at www.aaanet.org/publications/style_guide.pdf, so there’s no need to update your bookmarks. But please go ahead and download the new pdf for your reference.
Update (7.27.09): The Style Guide was previously posted at a new URL, but we have moved it to the old URL to avoid confusion for those who have bookmarked it and noted it in syllabi. The above post now includes the proper URL.
