The National Endowment for the Humanities has launched a new online database at https://securegrants.neh.gov/publicquery/main.aspx. The Funded Projects Query Form allows the public to search for information about NEH-funded projects dating back to 1980. NEH plans to update the database quarterly as new awards are made. Search results provide project title, recipient and award amount information. Feedback is welcome and should be directed to NEH’s Chief Information Officer.
Additionally, for those who have not yet seen it, the US National Archives introduced the NARAtions blog in August, to begin a dialogue with researchers on the future of online public access to the National Archives. NARA invites the public to share opinions on how to enhance the online researcher experience and increase access to archival materials. It is currently authored by Archival Research Catalog staff.
