American Anthropological Association

Columbia University Professor Neni Panourgiá, Fordham University Press, and Columbia’s Center for Digital Research and Scholarship partnered to produce an online adaptation of Panourgiá’s recently released print monograph, Dangerous Citizens: The Greek Left and the Terror of the State, now live at http://dangerouscitizens.columbia.edu. The site integrates a range of multimedia into the narrative, allowing users to experience the stories and history of twentieth century Greek dissidents as the author intended. A supplementary interactive map and chronology will be made available on the site soon.

Rebecca Kennison, Director of the Center for Digital Research and Scholarship, presented a preview of the website at the AAA 2009 meeting.
